Maintenance Coordinator

Summary The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and monitoring all maintenance activities across Calia Group stores, offices and facilities. The role ensures that maintenance requests are properly reported, assigned, followed up and completed within the required timeframe, while maintaining appropriate quality, cost and safety standards.

The Maintenance Coordinator will act as the main coordination point between stores, the Operations team, external maintenance contractors and service providers.

Responsibilities

• Receive, record and follow up on maintenance requests from stores and Back Office.
• Coordinate corrective maintenance activities and ensure issues are resolved within agreed timelines.
• Prioritize maintenance requests based on urgency and operational impact.
• Maintain a preventive maintenance calendar and ensure scheduled activities are completed on time.
• Coordinate with approved maintenance contractors and service providers.
• Request quotations when required and support the comparison of offers.
• Monitor contractor performance, response time and quality of work.
• Monitor maintenance-related expenses and ensure that costs remain within the approved budget.
• Support the Operations team during store openings and major maintenance projects.
• Monitor key maintenance KPIs such as response time, resolution time, recurring issues and maintenance cost per store.
• Follow up on critical safety-related maintenance issues and escalate them immediately.

Requirements

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or technical diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
• Previous experience in retail, malls, restaurants, hospitality or multi-site operations is a plus.
