Assists in the supervision of a comprehensive City recreation program. DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS OF THE CLASS: This is professional and supervisory work in planning, coordinating and supervising the operation of the Recreation Division of the City Parks and Recreation Department.  The employee in this class is responsible for planning, promoting, coordinating and supervising a year round recreational program designed to meet the needs and interests of citizens of all ages.
