80 - $87,793.60 The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Assesses a patient's psychological status and provides appropriate interventions and Collaborates with nursing and ancillary service to provide appropriate psychological therapy for patient. Refers patients to other disciplines for consult and evaluations as indicated. Provides psychological expertise and education to multidisciplinary Acts as resource to other disciplines.

Communicates complex/sensitive information to patients and medical Administers and interprets psychological tests used for diagnosing mental and personality disorders and differentiating between organic and functional cases of behavior disorders. Complexity of Work: Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Must be able to work in a stressful environment. Personal Protective Equipment: Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as Education: Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) Licensure / Certification / Registration: Required Credential(s): Psychologist credentialed from the New York Board of Psychology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
