Maintenance Mechanical Technician

Maintenance Mechanical Technician (HL Mando America Corporation; Hogansville, GA): Perform basic maintenance and simple repairs on plant and facility mechanical equipment under supervision. Assist senior technicians with routine preventive maintenance and equipment upkeep. Help set up machines for production and support basic mechanical adjustments as needed.

Connect and check pneumatic and hydraulic lines under guidance. Replace simple parts and assist with identifying worn components. Help repair minor leaks and maintain general equipment condition. Support installation and basic maintenance of mechanical equipment including piping and mechanical components. Assist operators in testing equipment after servicing.

Minimum requirements: One 1 year of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Must have experience with the following:

• interpreting hydraulic and pneumatic diagrams;
• interpreting mechanical blueprints;
• using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers and calipers;
• gas metal arc welding and shielded metal arc welding;
• general fabrication;
• piping;
• rigging; and
