Shop Assistant

Job Purpose: To support shop operations and maintain shop appearance. Monday-Thursday 6AM-4:30PM.

Essential Functions

Perform secondary operations on product, deburr, wash, tumble, sand blast, post-process, etc. Be responsible for basic machine upkeep, cleaning, coolant maintenance, chip removal, processing, etc. Receive and make deliveries. Unload material from trucks using a forklift. Operate a forklift. Janitorial duties. Prep material for machines.

Receive and make deliveries. Operate all equipment in a safe manner. Maintain expected quality standards. Maintain expected parts per hour quotas. Assist senior employees with assigned tasks when required. Understand and conform to relevant areas of the quality manual, quality procedures, and training.

Requirements

Ability to read and communicate effectively in a fast-paced work environment. Proficiency in working with your hands . You will be using a burr knife, file, sandpaper, scotchbrite, and other hand tools to deburr product daily. Ability to use basic power tools, lawn mower, weed whacker, trimmer, etc. Ability to multitask and work independently when required.

Ability to stand or sit for long periods of time. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Valid driver's license and clean record. Reliable transportation to and from work. 18+, and must be a permanent resident or citizen of the United States.

Compensation
