Job description

Audio DSP Engineer Automotive / Infotainment 6 month contract with option to extend ON SITE in Palo Alto, California $110 per hour Contract opportunity for an experienced Audio DSP Engineer to join an automotive / infotainment project for electric vehicles, focused on voice communication and audio processing. Working alongside hardware, software and DSP Engineers, you'll be responsible for developing, integrating, debugging, tuning, and validating audio algorithms on an embedded production platform.

This is a hands on engineering role that requires deep DSP knowledge an previous experience working on infotainment / automotive audio technologies. The Role: Developing the audio processing stack, including implementation and optimisation Developing and integrating voice communication and voice recognition solutions for infotainment platforms Ensuring tight integration with vehicle hardware Upholding high quality standards in the audio stack Working closely with QA team to carry out testing, debugging, and validation You must be able to work on site in Palo Alto a minimum of 3 days per week.

Requirements

Deep knowledge of audio DSP Experience developing speech and microphone array signal processing algorithms C, C++, Python, MATLAB, Audio Weaver Infotainment or automotive audio experience Knowledge of echo cancellation, beamforming, noise reduction, voice activity detection Acoustic measurement, tuning and validation tools ALSA / Linux audio architecture
