Warehouse Associate

Description Job Title: Warehouse Associate Department: Warehouse Reports to: Warehouse Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt The warehouse associate is also responsible for stocking products, loading products for shipping, and order selection within the warehouse.

Responsibilities

Checks, verifies, loads, stocks, and pulls inventory to meet store and customer orders. Performs daily inspections of appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including but not limited to: lift gate, pallet jack and hand truck, forklifts, radio frequency scanners and printers. Operates warehouse machinery in accordance with established safety procedures as needed to maintain the warehouse stock.

Verifies and completes required documentation and reports. Complies with hazardous material regulations and procedures. Assists in maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment at all times. Complies with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions Exerting up to 75 pounds of force repetitively and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Able to push/pull up to 300 lbs. using mechanical aids, such as hand trucks, barrel dollies, hydraulic lifts, etc.

Bending, twisting, squatting, climbing, pushing, pulling, stooping, crouching, reaching, standing, walking and moving at a quick speed of pace are required. Talking, hearing, and seeing with close visual acuity are frequently required. Ability to function well in a high-paced environment. Must be able to work both independently and in a team environment.
