Senior Android Developer

We are searching for a Senior Android Developer to become part of our team. In this position, you will help create and advance mobile applications used by a broad audience. You will work side by side with designers, product owners, QA, and fellow engineers in a supportive setting focused on innovation.

Responsibilities

Develop Android applications that provide high-quality user experiences Create and remove code as needed to keep the codebase healthy and evolving Leverage build tools such as Gradle, GitHub Actions, and Circle CI to streamline development and delivery Apply Continuous Integration patterns throughout the development workflow Detect and resolve bugs to preserve stability and reliability across the app Adopt asynchronous coding patterns to manage concurrent operations effectively Carry out performance analysis and optimization to keep applications smooth and efficient Maintain legacy code and blend it with modern components Prepare unit and integration tests to safeguard code quality and correctness Take part in open source projects and initiatives Work effectively within a globally distributed team Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a comparable field, or equivalent experience No less than 3 years of hands-on professional experience in Android development Strong applied background in Android application development Familiarity with RAML API Documentation for describing and integrating APIs Solid Kotlin programming skills, including practical experience with Flow for reactive streams Applied experience with Rx.

Java for reactive and asynchronous programming Hands-on background with Circle CI for continuous integration and delivery Practical use of Test Fakes to enable reliable and isolated testing English at B2 level or higher, with strong written and spoken communication skills Nice to have Applied experience with Dagger for dependency injection in Android applications Familiarity with Espresso for UI testing on Android Practical use of GitHub Actions for automating CI/CD workflows Hands-on background with JUnit for unit testing Working experience with Jetpack Compose for creating modern Android UIs Knowledge of Kotlin Coroutines for asynchronous programming Familiarity with the MVI Architecture pattern for developing scalable Android applications Applied experience with Ok.
