Plumber Apprentice

Description Work alongside licensed plumbers to learn the trade while assisting with installation, maintenance, and repair of residential plumbing systems. This is a hands-on training role leading toward journeyman licensure. Plumber Apprentice Responsibilities Assist lead plumbers on service calls, installations, and repairs Transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites Learn to read blueprints and identify pipe systems, fixtures, and fittings Perform basic tasks under supervision: cutting/threading pipe, soldering, drain cleaning Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Document work performed and materials used Provide excellent customer service and represent the company professionally Complete required apprenticeship hours and coursework toward licensure Plumber Apprentice Qualifications At least 18 years of age High school diploma or GED Valid driver’s license with clean record Willingness to enroll in or currently enrolled in a state-approved apprenticeship program Must be able to work in extreme conditions (i.

e. cold, hot, dirty environment, cramped, on ladders etc.) Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
