• Washington, DC Day Tour Location: Washington, DC Job Type: Part-time Compensation: $30.00 per hour Position Overview We’re looking for enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and engaging History Tour Guides to lead visitors through Williamsburg and share the stories, people, places, and events that shaped its past.

Responsibilities

Lead engaging walking and history tours of Washington. Deliver fun, compelling historical narratives with enthusiasm and professional public speaking skills. Bring historical events and personalities to life through compelling storytelling. Provide exceptional customer service, answer guest questions, and facilitate a memorable, entertainment-driven tour experience.

Compensation

& Perks $60 flat fee per 2 hours tour ($30/hour). Tips: $20 to over $100 per tour. Bonuses based on performance. Free or discounted tours for you and close family/friends all over the country flexible scheduling that fits your lifestyle Tour Guide Requirements A deep passion for history, storytelling, and historic research Strong public speaking skills to engage and educate your tour groups Prior experience as a bartender, acting or theater experience is helpful.
