Production Operator
Job description
Production Operator Hours - 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM Position Summary We are seeking motivated, reliable and safety-focused individuals to join our Production Department. Opportunities may include Saw Operators, Chopper Operators, Straightener Operators, and Pointer Operators. These positions play a key role in producing high-quality precision tubing by operating equipment, performing inspections, and supporting safe and efficient production operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Set up and operate production equipment, including saws, choppers, straighteners, pointers, and related machinery. Read and follow routers, sales orders, and work instructions. Perform inspections using measuring equipment such as tape measures, micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Complete production, quality, and inspection documentation.
Load, unload, move, and transport materials within the work area. Perform basic equipment maintenance and maintain tooling and equipment in an orderly condition. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all safety procedures and support production and quality objectives.
Qualifications
Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to stand, bend, reach, push, and pull throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 50-60 pounds Manufacturing experience preferred but not required. Experience using measuring instruments and inspection tools preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Physical Requirements Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling. Regular lifting and carrying of materials weighing up to 60 pounds. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around moving equipment and production machinery. Work Environment Manufacturing and warehouse setting. Exposure to lumber, tools, machinery, and typical production-related noise levels.
Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as appropriate.
