Lab Supervisor (Chemistry)

Performs and confirms the accuracy of patients# laboratory tests and provides findings to physicians to assist in diagnosis and treatment of disease to provide quality patient care.# Assumes the day-to-day responsibilities in delegated section, overseeing the pre- analytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases of testing.

Responsible for the technical and/or direct supervision of laboratory personnel and maintenance within their representative departments.# M.T. (ASCP) certification with B.S. degree or M.L.T. (ASCP) certification with A.S. degree, or M.T. (AMT) HEW certified.# Knowledge in all areas of the clinical laboratory with teamwork, communication, critical thinking and inter- personal skills.

5 years experience in designated section; supervisory experience preferred.
