Position Summary
Responsible for maintaining close, continuous surveillance of all gaming areas and the entire property, to secure safety and property assets Job Title: Surveillance Agent Department: Surveillance Reports To: Supervisor Sur veillance FLSA Designation: Non-Exempt License Type: Gaming Target Pay: Start - $26.64 One Year - $29.
60 Essential Job Functions: Monitor all areas of the property always, identifying potential security and/or safety risks and reporting them to the appropriate individual or entity, for proper resolution Utilizes necessary equipment, to identify, record, document and report illegal, suspicious or unusual activities occurring on property Maintains a working knowledge of all rules and regulations of the New York State Gaming Commission and ensures strict adherence Must be able to pass various tests to include but not limited to all table games and Surveillance system Protects casino assets and gaming integrity through the consistent, thorough monitoring of all activities on property, particularly on the gaming floor Participate in confidential internal and external investigations Conducts research on subpoena requests from s tate and f ederal a uthority Completes daily reports and incident reports to document your activity Held accountable for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports Supports other employees, s upervisors, and management, regarding protection of assets in their respective departments Coordinates, with the Security Department, when S urveillance discovers a matter which needs further investigation or attention All other duties as assigned Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English Must be 21 years of age or older Gaming industry experience preferred Ability to identify color (casino tokes are color coded) Basic math skills - pre-employment assessment required (add, subtract, multiply and divide) High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED), some college preferred Ability to analyze documents and reports Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing Working Conditions: Regularly required to sit, stand, walk and use hands to control surveillance tools Must occasionally lift and lift up to 25 pounds Frequently required to stoop, crouch or kneel Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays Ability to interact with others while maintaining a courteous and positive demeanor Exposure to climate environments
