Hyundai Santa Monica is seeking an experienced Used Car Technician to join our team. Candidates must have 2+ years of automotive technician experience, preferably in a dealership setting. Responsibilities***
The Used Car Technician will be responsible for servicing and repairing multiple vehicles makes and models as assigned by the service department.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunction of vehicles and perform repairs.
- Accurately document record of all repairs, services and maintenance performed on vehicles in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Collaborate with service team to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
- Perform maintenance and repairs with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
Qualifications
- **Required: **At least 2 years of prior experience as an Automotive Used Car Technician is required.
- **Required: **Must have experience performing maintenance and repairs on all makes and models.
- Preferred: Smog License (Test and Repair) and ASE and manufacturer certifications are preferred. A/C certification is also a bonus.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
Compensation**
