Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care to residents, ensuring their health and well-being. Assess, develop, and implement individualized care plans for residents. Administer medications, treatments, and wound care in accordance with care plans. Monitor and evaluate residents’ conditions, documenting changes and updating care plans as needed.

Communicate with physicians, families, and the healthcare team regarding resident care. Provide education to residents and families on disease management and wellness. Lead, supervise, and support LPNs and CNAs in delivering resident care. Ensure compliance with state regulations, facility policies, and best practices .

Respond to medical emergencies , implementing appropriate interventions. Promote a positive and safe work environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications

Current RN license in the state of Utah (or ability to obtain). Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred. Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a healthcare team. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Compassionate and resident-focused approach to care.

Ability to lift and assist residents (up to 50 lbs).
