Medical Assistant-PRN

Description Responsible for assisting providers with patient care and organizational tasks. Responsible for chart management. May be assigned to specific specialty to help with patient care.

Requirements

High School Diploma required or GED. Completed training in Medical Assistant program and graduated course. Experience: One –two years as a medical assistant preferred. Specific Skills: Good verbal and written communication, ability to interact with public and hospital personnel in a pleasant manner, strict adherence to LCMC’s policies and procedures to specifically include confidentiality Computer Skills: Word and Excel programs.

Must be able to maintain a Excel spread sheet for tracking. Licenses: N/A Certifications: Current BLS/CPR certification NCCT Medical Assistant certification preferred
