Medical Assistant Pediatrics

Key Responsibilities

Assist healthcare providers with pediatric examinations and procedures Draw blood and administer vaccines with precision and care Maintain a friendly and comforting demeanor to ease children's anxiety Prepare examination rooms and ensure cleanliness and organization Document patient information accurately and efficiently Support patient education and answer basic questions in a caring manner Adhere to all safety and health protocols to ensure patient and staff safety Skills and Qualifications: Prior experience in pediatric healthcare or medical assisting preferred Ability to draw blood and give vaccines safely and effectively Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Warm, friendly, and patient personality with a good sense of humor Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to remain calm and patient in high-pressure situations Certification in Medical Assisting or relevant healthcare training is a plus Compassionate attitude and a genuine interest in working with children We foster a supportive and collaborative environment where growth and development are encouraged.

Requirements

Must have a reliable vehicle for transportation. Must be willing to work day, evenings and two Saturdays a month. Must be willing to travel to three different locations. Must be a team player that is willing to make a difference.
