Manager - Environmental Services

Type: Part-Time 37.5 Hours Bi-Weekly Shift: Evenings Hours: 3:00 PM - 11:30PM Pay Range: $37,500 - $45,000, Shift Differential May Apply Job Description: The Manager supervises and coordinates the Environmental Services Department in order to maintain the facility in a clean and orderly condition.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and control the activities of the EVS department Ensure supplies are available for staff to complete their assignments daily Monitor employee time and attendance Validate and document terminal cleaning regularly Complete Bed Report each morning and effectively communicate bed availability and room readiness Adjust staffing patterns in accordance with Hospital census Monitor linen distribution on the units adjusting delivery counts in accordance with Hospital census Monitor work performance and prepare reviews and/or evaluation for assigned personnel Requirements: Associate's Degree in relevant field of study required, Bachelor's preferred 5 years relevant experience in a healthcare setting Knowledge of all environmental services procedures, applicable laws, and government regulations Previous Environmental Services managerial experience required
