Inbound Specialist - Shift D
Job description
The Inbound Specialist, Ground owns the destination half of the ground shipment file — from origin departure through confirmed delivery, financial reconciliation, and release of the file for invoicing. Working across e2open TMF and Descartes Aljex, the Inbound Specialist picks up shipments handed off by the Outbound Specialist, maintains in-transit visibility and delivery ETAs, pre-alerts the receiving warehouse, secures and audits the signed proof of delivery, and posts delivery milestones and documentation in both systems.
The role closes the file: reconciling revenue and cost once final carrier charges are confirmed, pre-alerting the billing team when the file is ready to bill, and locking the job so nothing downstream is billed against incomplete data.
