Pay range

• Hourly $25.95 - $38.38 We are currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant or Patient Care Technician to join our team in our growing Surgical Pre-Admission (SPA) Unit. Part-time (0.8 FTE) / Day shift Schedule TBD Qualifications- Medical Assistant High School Diploma or GED required. Graduate of a certified medical assistant program or previous military training/experience that satisfies Washington state standards required. Medical Assistant Certification (MA-C) or Interim MA-C through WA State DOH required (the latter must obtain regular MA-C within 6-months of hire). Current healthcare provider CPR certification required. Experience with EMR applications, EPIC preferred. CNA/Patient Care Tech Nursing Assistant Certification (NA-C) required. High school graduate or equivalent. Completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program or equivalent documented nursing training experience. Medical Assistant Registered (MA-R) required post hire (Overlake Hospital will sponsor this licensure upon hire). Health Care Provider CPR Certification (BLS). One year recent experience in a health care setting involving patient contact preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and computer familiarity is preferred.
