About the Role

Blue Rose Consulting Group is seeking a Mid-Level Java Developer to build web and backend applications and services supporting a credentialing and case management system. This role will use Java/Spring-based REST APIs, modern web technologies, and continuous integration practices to help deliver next-generation customer engagement systems for federal service agencies.

The Mid-Level Java Developer will contribute to both front-end and backend development while collaborating with Agile development teams to deliver reliable software solutions. This position requires U.S. citizenship and an active Final DoD Secret security clearance.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise Java applications. Build web and backend applications and services. Develop and integrate Java/Spring-based REST APIs. Support credentialing and case management system functionality. Develop web solutions using technologies including AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.

Participate in continuous integration activities. Use Java development tools such as Eclipse, JUnit, and Git. Collaborate with Agile development teams to deliver reliable software solutions. Contribute to next-generation customer engagement systems supporting federal service agencies.

Minimum Qualifications

U.S. Citizen. Active Final DoD Secret security clearance. 4+ years of Java development experience building enterprise applications. At least 1 year of recent experience developing and implementing solutions using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Java. At least 1 year of experience using Java development tools such as Eclipse, JUnit, and Git.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience supporting a large-scale federal IT program. Experience working within the SAFe Agile delivery framework. What Success Looks Like Success in this role requires a developer who can contribute effectively across both web and backend development while working within an established Agile and continuous integration environment.

Key indicators of success include: Developing reliable and maintainable enterprise Java applications. Effectively developing and integrating Java/Spring-based REST APIs.

Working effectively within continuous integration environments. Demonstrating strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and ownership of assigned development activities.
