RN - 2 South

Functioning within the Health System#s mission, vision, values, policies and procedures, the Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients on his/her shift.# RN responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care using age specific criteria.

Judgments are made based upon scientific knowledge and clinical skills.# The RN also assists in planning, directing and teaching non-RN staff such as LPN/PCT and Unit Secretaries.# Must demonstrate flexibility with work schedule changes. On call response time within one hour required.## Education: #Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Licensure/Certification: #Must have a valid unrestricted RN license for the State of Ohio.# Current BLS required.# Basic Cardiac Dysrhythmia and ACLS is required within 6 months of hire.# Intermediate Cardiac Dysrhythmia Class required within 1 year of hire. Will have to specialize in either Chemotherapy and/or Pediatrics within 1 year of hire.

Must maintain PALS and/or Chemotherapy certification. # Experience:# One to three years# experience specific to physician office practice or Health System preferred. # Skills:# Must have excellent #customer service# skills.# Must have basic computer skills. # #
