Facilities Technician (Bond Projects)

Job Summary

This position is a bond funded position, and the length of the assignment is dependent on funding availability. Location: District Service Center Hours/Day: 8 hours/day Days/Week: 5 days/week Months/Year: 12 months/year Under the general direction of the Director of Maintenance and Operations or designee, performs a full range of complex duties to support in the oversight and coordination of all aspects of all sizes of school construction projects and capital improvement projects. In addition will serve as an assistant advisor, subject matter expert and resource to project staff to resolve technical or operational projects.

Requirements

/ Qualifications EXPERIENCE: Three years of school construction, maintenance and operations and /or facilities project management experience, preferably in educational sector.

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or GED or combination of vocational education/training, certificates, and/or work experience of at least 3 years in construction project management and or school based maintenance and operations.
