Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field Lean Manufacturing training/certifications 10+ years of experience in Operations, including leading production lines and/or factories. Manufacturing project, overhead and financial management Capture/proposal experience Demonstrated ability to attract, motivate and retain a high-performing team Demonstrated Full Spectrum Leadership attributes Experience effectively working with all levels of cross-functional leadership Standard Job Description This position will serve as the Manassas, VA Production Operations site lead and will also support the day to day operations of the Mission Integrated Command & Control (MIC2) Line of Business.

Responsibilities include

factory execution, material management, planning, manufacturing and industrial engineering, and manufacturing project management. In this role you will partner closely with Quality, Supply Chain, Production Operations, Sustainment, Engineering, and Programs, to identify and mitigate risk, improve performance, and ensure successful program execution across the business and will be the primary interface with external customers for manufacturing.

This position will report directly to the Production Operations Director for the Owego, Manassas, Colorado Springs, and Deer Creek facilities. The Senior Manager will lead a workforce of approximately 110 employees and be responsible for the overall execution of production at the site. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
