• Philadelphia, PA, Position Type: Part Time, Salary Range: $15.00 - $17.00Hourly, Job Purpose:
• The Steward at Cescaphe Event Group plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of events by maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and dining areas. This part-time position supports the culinary and service teams, contributing to the overall guest experience by upholding the highest standards of hygiene and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen and dining areas before and after events.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, and silverware after each use.
• Ensure proper storage and organization of kitchen supplies and inventory.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor promptly.
• Assist with waste management and recycling processes.
• Support the team in any additional tasks as required to ensure successful event execution.

Qualifications

Required Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred Required Experience:
• Previous experience in a stewarding or similar role in the hospitality industry is preferred
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment, particularly in events or catering settings, is advantageous Required Skills and Abilities:
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and other departments
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual labor, including lifting and carrying heavy items
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment and adapt to changing priorities
