• Rochester, NY, Position Type: Full-Time, Salary Range: $21.50 - $23.18Hourly, Travel Percentage: Occasional, Job Shift: Flexible, The Supervising Group Home Worker position is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Group Home including mentoring and supporting the youth to ensure a safe, therapeutic and nurturing home environment for youth and team. Description: Job Responsibilities
• Plan and engage youth in activities.
• Teach daily and independent living skills; mentor and promote community integration.
• Form therapeutic relationships with youth and families.
• Supervise designated Group Home Workers and daily program activities in the absence of management.
• Assist in maintaining staff schedules and coverage. Job Requirements
• Minimum 1- year of supervisory experience OR 2 years congregate care setting or related childcare or human services environment.
• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree in human services, Criminal Justice or related field preferred.
• Flexible availability required including nights, weekends, holidays and on-call rotation. •Must have a current and valid driver's license with acceptable driving history to the Agency
• Ability to work with an economically and culturally diverse population. Schedule The full-time (40-hour) schedule for this position includes a variation of shifts ranging from 9 am to 10 pm, with Sundays and Mondays off. Paid Orientation & Training All new hires must complete 2-3 weeks of mandatory, fully paid training to ensure you are set up for success! New Hire Training is held Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Full attendance is required during this initial period before you transition into your permanent assigned shift.
