We’re seeking compassionate, dedicated professionals to join our LTSR Glassport team as Psychiatric Rehabilitation Workers. In this role, you’ll work directly with adults living with mental health disorders, helping them develop the skills, confidence, and connections they need to successfully live and thrive in their communities.
Through strengths-based and recovery-oriented support, you’ll help participants identify goals, build independence, access resources, and take an active role in their recovery. - Join a Mission-Driven Behavioral Health Team What You’ll Do As a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Worker , you will:
- Provide recovery-oriented psychiatric rehabilitation services to adults with mental health disorders
- Help participants identify their personal strengths, assets, recovery goals, and strategies for achieving those goals
- Assist individuals in developing and maintaining recovery and wellness plans
- Provide skills training and coaching to help participants successfully live and thrive in their communities
- Help participants identify, develop, or reconnect with natural supports, peer resources, and community-based support systems
- Assist individuals with scheduling appointments and navigating behavioral health, substance use, healthcare, and other service systems
- Advocate for participants' community, medical, and behavioral health needs
- Participate in treatment team and continuing-care meetings as appropriate
- Use motivational interviewing and strengths-based techniques to identify goals, needs, strengths, and motivations
- Empower participants to self-advocate, follow through with treatment, attend appointments, and build community connections
- Provide crisis management support and help participants access appropriate resources

- High School Diploma or GED with 3 years of mental health experience , OR
- Associate’s Degree with 1 year of mental health experience , OR
- Bachelor’s Degree with 1 year of mental health experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
- Ability and willingness to travel as necessary
- Ability to obtain required Act 33/34, child abuse, and FBI clearances as applicable
- Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills Preferred
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree
- Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) certification
- Previous experience providing psychiatric rehabilitation or recovery-oriented behavioral health services
- Knowledge of psychiatric rehabilitation principles and recovery-focused practices Schedule
- Full-Time
- Schedule flexibility is required to meet participant and program needs
- Evening and weekend availability may be required based on program needs
- Local travel may be required to provide services and meet with participants in the community Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, reach, bend, kneel, stoop, and navigate community environments
- Ability to travel to community locations and meet with participants in the field
- Ability to lift or exert up to 20 pounds of force as required
