Position – Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Location: VMP Healthcare and Community Living – West Allis, WI (on-site position) Status: Part-Time or Full-Time Schedule: 1st shift 6am – 2:30pm 2nd shift 2pm – 10:30pm 3rd shift (NOC) 10pm – 6:30am _________________________________________________________ Job Summary: We are currently seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our skilled nursing facility’s team.
The LPN will provide direct nursing care to residents, administer medications and treatment, monitor resident conditions, and work closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care. _________________________________________________________ Benefits: Competitive Pay with Shift Differential Opportunities Medical, Dental and Vision insurance Company-paid life insurance Retirement Options: Roth IRA and 403(b) with employer match Tuition reimbursement and continuing education Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Paid Time Off (PTO) 6 Paid Holidays Benefits vary by employment status (Full-time, Part-time, PRN) _________________________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: Provide direct and indirect nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and care plans Administer medications, treatments, and injections as prescribed Monitor residents’ health status and promptly report changes in conditions Accurately document care provided and maintain records Assist with resident assessments and care planning Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and the healthcare team Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations Respond to resident emergencies and urgent situations Every other weekend & holiday rotation is required __________________________________________________________ Qualifications: Current Wisconsin Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program Long-term care, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing experience preferred Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment CPR/BLS certification required __________________________________________________________ What You Can Expect: A Human Resources team member will contact you within 1-2 business days of your application submission Complete 1-2 interview(s) and meet with immediate supervisor Upon receiving job offer, complete onboarding paperwork through Paycor Paid New-Hire Orientation Continuous training from mentor __________________________________________________________ Why VMP?
