About Newport Veterinary Hospital

For nearly four decades, Newport Veterinary Hospital has been a trusted part of the Rock Hill community. Established in 1987, our hospital has built a loyal client base by delivering compassionate, relationship-focused veterinary care for dogs and cats. Following our partnership with Veterinary Practice Partners in 2024, we've continued investing in our hospital through facility improvements, new technology, and expanded resources while maintaining the local culture and personalized care our clients have come to know and trust.

Our doctors enjoy the autonomy to practice medicine their way while collaborating with experienced colleagues when needed. We offer a wide variety of general practice medicine and surgery, including wellness care, dentistry, soft tissue surgery, mass removals, cystotomies, internal medicine workups, and preventative care. Our hospital features digital radiography, digital dental radiography, IDEXX in-house laboratory equipment, ultrasound, ScribbleVet AI documentation, electronic medical records, and updated treatment areas. As we continue to grow, we plan to expand and further modernize our facility to support additional veterinarians and services.

What truly sets Newport Veterinary Hospital apart is our culture. Many of our team members have been with us for years—even decades—creating a welcoming, supportive environment built on trust, collaboration, and genuine friendships. Leadership maintains an open-door policy, celebrates birthdays, anniversaries, and team milestones, and believes in working hard while making time to enjoy each day together. Located between charming York and growing Rock Hill, you'll enjoy the best of both worlds: a lower cost of living, easy access to Charlotte, nearby lakes, outdoor recreation, and weekend trips to both the Blue Ridge Mountains and the South Carolina coast. If you're looking for a hospital where you'll be supported professionally, valued personally, and have opportunities to grow for years to come, we'd love to meet you.

We are dedicated to establishing a culture that celebrates all forms of diversity and allows us to be an inclusive service provider in this community.
