Production 1st or 2nd Shift - New Pay Rates

Join our Production Team! Production team members rotate in various jobs to fill boxes with hot cheese while following all safety policies and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements. 1st Shift: Monday through Thursday 6:00am - about 4:30pm ($20.50/hour) 2nd Shift: Monday through Thursday 4:00pm - about 2:30am ($22.

50/hour) Fridays are scheduled based on business needs (Production works about 12-15 Fridays each year.) Starting pay rate for 1st shift is $20.00/hour and you're eligible for a $.50/hour increase after 90 days. 2nd shift earns $2.00/hour shift premium. We have openings for employees to learn skills and earn more! New hires are eligible for a $500 bonus after (3) months of employment and a second $500 bonus after (6) months of employment!

Duties/Responsibilities: Label, stack, and line corrugated boxes. Using a foot pedal, pour cheese into boxes and ensure box weights are accurate. Label bags or paperboard liners and lift loaves of cheese into cases. Disassemble and clean equipment and utensils used during the work shift. Any related tasks or duties assigned by the supervisor.

Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to work as part of a team. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from the supervisor. Must have basic math skills and English verbal and written communication skills. Ability to understand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs). Ability to work safety and follow safety requirements.

Education and Experience

A minimum of six (6) months of related work experience or training is preferred. Physical Requirements: This position involves: continuous standing and lifting of 10lbs, occasional lifting of 25lbs, carrying of objects up to 50lbs., continuous standing for long periods and duration of the shift, and occasional walking.
