What you’ll do Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal permitting requirements. Prepare, review, and submit permit applications to regulatory agencies. Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and construction, to gather necessary permitting documentation. Maintain relationships with permitting agencies to facilitate smooth approvals.

Provide guidance to project teams on regulatory requirements and best practices. Track multiple permits and proactively address potential delays. Research and analyze permitting trends and regulatory changes affecting the industry. Assist in responding to permit-related inquiries from government agencies or stakeholders.

Support audits and internal compliance checks related to permits. Identify process improvements for faster and more efficient permitting workflows. What you’ll need To be 18 years of age or older Minimum 1+ years of relevant work experience, formal trade, or technical skills training Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Windows 11, GIS software Authorization to work in the United States for this company High School Diploma, GED equivalent Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred All offers contingent on passing background check and drug test Physical abilities & exposures Routinely: Work alone in remote locations, use keyboard and mouse Occasionally: Climbing stairs, Standing, Walking, operates vehicles The wage range for Permitting Specialist is $20.
