Responsibilities

Independently manage Record to Report (R2R) accounting processes for selected group entities. Prepare and post General Ledger journal entries. Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities in line with the established closing schedule. Reconcile balance sheet and profit & loss accounts, and analyze balances and transactions.

Process and reconcile intercompany transactions. Prepare provisions, accruals, deferrals, and other period-end closing entries. Prepare data for statutory and group reporting purposes. Prepare financial statements in compliance with local statutory requirements. Prepare documentation and provide explanations for internal and external audits.

Collaborate with Tax, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Treasury teams to ensure accurate accounting treatment of business transactions. Identify accounting discrepancies and recommend corrective actions. Participate in projects related to the optimization, standardization, and automation of finance and accounting processes.

Create and update process documentation and procedures.

Requirements

University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in financial accounting, with a strong focus on General Ledger and/or Record to Report processes. Very good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Experience working with ERP systems (SAP preferred).

Good command of English, French would be an advantage. Knowledge of IFRS is considered an advantage. High level of accuracy, independence, and analytical thinking skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage priorities.
