Job description
Perform assigned product manufacturing and or wiring responsibilities. Properly install electrical wiring within HVAC units based on blueprints, schematics, and assembly guidelines. Connect electrical components such as motors, controls, and switches within the HVAC system. Use a variety of hand, power and or pneumatic tools to complete the assembly and or system within the customer equipment.
Regularly inspect and test the wiring of HVAC units to ensure they adhere to company specifications and safety standards. Identify and resolve any wiring issues or discrepancies during the assembly process. Complete shop paperwork / records to ensure that equipment is being built in accordance with the manufacturing / customer requirements.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment. Comply with the safety regulations and properly utilize personal protective equipment. Abide by all internal United CoolAir polices to foster a safe, efficient, and exciting work environment. Work with your manufacturing lead and team to meet scheduled deadlines.
Collaborate with various departments when necessary to provide the highest quality product to your customers. Stay updated on the latest HVAC electrical standards, technologies, and best practices.
