This position offers established regional routes, consistent freight, and a schedule you can plan around. Drivers are typically home two days during the week and most weekends for their 34-hour reset. Overnight routes include company-paid hotel accommodations and meal per diem, so you are not expected to sleep in the truck. This is a driver-assist delivery position transporting hardware and building materials to independent hardware stores. Drivers operate automatic 48- to 53-foot dry vans and help unload products at scheduled stops.

Responsibilities

Run assigned regional routes and complete scheduled customer deliveries. Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle in accordance with DOT regulations and company policies. Load, unload, and properly secure products. Complete pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections. Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery records, and required documentation.

Follow assigned routes and use GPS navigation when needed. Report mechanical issues, delays, or safety concerns promptly. Provide professional and courteous service at each customer location. Complete brokerage runs when needed to support operations. Work safely and responsibly while meeting delivery schedules.

Qualifications

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License. Current DOT medical card. Clean driving record. Regional or over-the-road driving experience preferred. Ability to pass DOT drug and alcohol screening. Comfortable traveling overnight, typically three to four nights per week. Ability to load and unload products at scheduled stops.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to sit and drive for extended periods. Strong reliability, professionalism, and work ethic. Commitment to safe driving and dependable customer service.
