Supplemental Instructor

DUTIES: Supplemental Instructors (SIs) provide academic support to students in the Writing Lab by assisting with writing assignments across disciplines. SIs work with students at all stages of the writing process, including brainstorming, drafting, revising, and editing, with the goal of helping students develop stronger writing skills and greater independence.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Candidates must have a GPA of 3.0 or above, with at least two semesters of college experience. Candidates must have completed ENGL 1301, ENGL 1302 or equivalent course with a grade of B or higher SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Subject to a criminal background check prior to employment.
