1:1 Instructional Aide Special Education - Mild to Moderate

OVERVIEW

Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, assist a certificated teacher in providing instructional support, child/health care activities and prescribe specialized on-to-one services to an individualstudent placed in a special education program because of specific learning disabilities, severe emotional and behavioral issues, orthopedic disabilities and/or other limiting conditions; monitor and report student progress regarding behavior and performance; perform a variety of clericaland instructional duties in support of the instructional program as required by the disabling/limiting condition of the student and according to his or her established Individual Education Plan (IEP).
