- Build and maintain backend services and APIs that support frontend applications.
- Lead development of greenfield projects and help define system architecture.
- Work across the stack to support data flow, system performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with engineers and operators to translate real-world needs into software solutions.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience). - 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong expertise in JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
- Solid understanding of full-stack architecture, system design, and backend development.
- Experience building and maintaining production-grade APIs and services.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ownership mindset.
Nice to Have
- Experience with real-time or streaming data systems.
- Familiarity with systems programming languages such as Rust.
- Frontend depth — browser internals, video streaming, or low-latency UI experience.
- Track record of leading or owning greenfield projects.
- Interest in systems programming, performance, or infrastructure. Why Revel
- Join a world-class team of engineers with decades of critical software applications experience.
- Work on groundbreaking technology that directly impacts critical infrastructure and high-stakes industries with strong early traction.
