Commercial Irrigation Equipment Operator

Location: Southington, CT Employment Type: Full-Time Department: Commercial Irrigation Job Description Winterberry Gardens is looking for an experienced Commercial Irrigation Equipment Operator to join our Commercial Irrigation Department. This is a full-time traveling position that requires both in-state and out-of-state travel .

We are looking for someone with experience operating heavy equipment, including backhoes and excavators , who is comfortable traveling to different job sites as needed.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment, including backhoes and excavators, for commercial irrigation projects. Work as part of the Commercial Irrigation team on projects at various job sites. Travel to job sites both within Connecticut and out of state. Follow company and job-site safety requirements. Perform work safely and efficiently as part of the field team.

Requirements

Previous experience operating heavy equipment, including backhoes and excavators . Valid driver's license. Current DOT Medical Card. Ability and willingness to travel both in state and out of state. Availability to work full-time. Preferred OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
