Environmental Services EVS Attendant, Full time - 5:00PM-1:30AM - Marina Hospital
Job description
The EVS Attendant is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the facility to provide a clean, sanitary and attractive environment for patients, visitors and employees. The EVS Attendant must work collaboratively with the hospital staff to efficiently and safely perform all duties. The EVS Attendant must follow all Infection Control guidelines and follow waste disposal policies.
Maintains premises in a clean and orderly manner in compliance with Infection Control practices. Cleans offices, patient rooms, common areas, laboratory, procedure rooms, operating rooms, sterile processing rooms, pharmacy rooms, halls, food services areas and any other areas that may require attention. Cleans light fixtures, ceilings, and vents, walls, mattresses, furniture, windows and window coverings, floors and carpets.
Cleans by dusting, wiping, scrubbing, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping and other techniques. Replenishes supplies. Moves furniture, hang draperies and sets-up tables and chairs. May change sheets and replenish linens. Follows waste disposal policies. Other duties as assigned.
Education
No diploma/degree required - minimum High School Diploma/GED - preferred Experience 6 months Prior EVS experience in healthcare. - preferred
