Business Development Call Agent

DeYarman Ford in Indianola, IA is looking for a Business Development Center Agent to join its BDC team. DeYarman Ford has been part of the Indianola community for more than 50 years, built on honesty, trust, integrity, and hard work. This role books sales and service appointments, keeps in touch with existing customers, and plays a direct part in keeping the dealership's calendar full. Prior BDC experience is preferred but not required.

What You'll Do

• Book appointments for prospective customers who want to purchase a vehicle or schedule service
• Arrange mobile service appointments for customers who need service at their location
• Contact customers after their visits to confirm they were satisfied with their experience
• Reach out to the existing customer base with updates on current sales and service opportunities
• Work alongside the sales and service teams to build and maintain positive customer relationships

What We're Looking For

• Prior BDC experience preferred but not required
• Sales or call center experience a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong telephone presence and confidence in overcoming objections
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once
• Basic computer skills and typing ability
• High school diploma or GED required
