As the Project Manager on the Insights team, you will serve as both a hands-on recruiter and a coach for our team of Associates and Research Managers. You will lead by example—actively sourcing, engaging, and securing high-quality advisors while also training and mentoring the team to optimize their performance. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, has strong recruiting and communication skills, and enjoys developing junior talent.
This is a hybrid position out of our New York office.
What You’ll Do:
- Identify and recruit senior industry experts with private equity exposure for our teleconferences.
- Conduct outreach via LinkedIn, email, and phone to secure expert participation.
- Work closely with our moderators to understand subject matter and manage the team to source the best advisors.
- Track and manage expert pipelines, ensuring consistent engagement and conversion.
- Train and mentor a team of Associates, helping them develop strong recruiting and communication skills.
- Monitor individual and team performance, providing feedback and coaching to improve results.
- Implement best practices in expert recruitment, refining outreach strategies and messaging.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to refine team processes and optimize recruitment efficiency.
- Set team goals, track progress, and ensure deadlines are met in a fast-moving environment.
What You Have:
- 2+ years of experience, including at least 1 year as a Project Manager.
- Comfort with high-volume outreach (e.g., cold calling, cold emailing).
- Strong leadership skills, with a track record of mentoring or managing junior team members.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to engage senior executives.
- A data-driven approach to outreach, tracking efforts and optimizing conversion rates.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
- Interested in Private Equity and alternative investment strategies.
What We Offer:
The annual base salary for this position is $75,000. Additionally, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on performance.
You will also be eligible for the following benefits:
- 15 PTO days, 10 legal holidays, and sick days
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans
- Will match up to 10% of employee contribution for 401(k), life insurance, paid time-off and parental leave plans
- Commuter benefits and a corporate gym rate
- Development opportunities through the LinkedIn Learning platform
- Free snacks and beverages in the office
- Friday happy hour and “Summer Fridays”
- Year-round corporate athletic league
- Casual work environment, team building, and other social events
