- NORWALK, OH, Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time, Education Level: 4 Year Degree, Salary Range: $60000.00 - $65000.00Salary, Travel Percentage: None, Job Shift: Any, Job Category: Professional Services, We are seeking a licensed clinician to join a strong and effective mobile crisis response team for youth . We serve Huron county from 8 am to 8 pm Monday through Friday. Referrals come from schools, law enforcement, Child protective services, probation and the courts, and community members and families. Schedule is flexible. No productivity requirement. Hiring bonus of $2500.00 Services are offered in the home, schools, or community. Two team members respond together to all intakes and may continue to serve the family as a team if they wish. After de-escalating the family-defined crisis, the team may continue to work with the family to provide optional stabilization services. Team members receive strong supervisor support and training. Supervisors work in the field when needed. Team members and supervisor work from their homes until they are needed for an emergent call or for a scheduled family appointment. A supervisor position is also available on this team due to team expansion. Candidate must have reliable transportation. Mileage is paid from the clinician’s home.
Responsibilities
Respond to emergent and non-emergent referrals, including intake interviews, mental health evaluations, and behavioral observations. Assess and de-escalate crisis situations. Provide individual, group, and family stabilization counseling sessions focused on mental health issues such as PTSD, grief, addiction, developmental disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders.
Work with families in their homes to improve cohesion and communication. Document all patient interactions accurately in compliance with HIPAA and CARF regulations Collaborate with team members Qualifications: Licensure: LPCC-S, LISW-S, LMFT-S Education: Master's MRSS Supervision Certification Clinical supervision experience preferred Experience in crisis intervention and community collaboration Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills CPR and First Aid Crisis Intervention Valid Ohio driver's license.
