POSITION SUMMARY

The Business Consultant drives volume recovery, market share expansion, and route-to-market performance across Central America. This role shifts regional leadership from administrative oversight to high-impact trade execution, focusing on active field presence, proactive commercial propositions to bottler C-suites, and rigid point-of-sale visibility.

The Business Consultant reports directly to the VP of International.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct store audits, route rides, and POS inspections across Traditional and Modern Trade to enforce availability, optimal pricing, and Picture of Success (PicOS) visibility standards. Pitch actionable trade initiatives, new product formats, and joint annual volume targets directly to bottler CEOs, GMs, and commercial leaders.

Onboard high-potential distribution partners, launch channel-specific programs, and leverage Nielsen & Licensee’s data to capitalize on regional growth opportunities. Direct trade promotional budgets to maximize ROI, oversee monthly performance reviews (MBRs), and manage licensing, regulatory, and Tampico Beverages Inc.

QUALIFICATIONS

5+ years of experience in retail or B2B sales; food/beverage industry experience strongly preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or Commercial Strategy. Advanced Microsoft Office skills. Excellent communication skills, including conducting presentations. Analytical skills in strategic and sales planning.

Self-starter and able to work independently. Results oriented, attention to detail with a sense of urgency. Broad understanding and ability to interpret syndicated data (e.g., Nielsen data). Written and verbal fluency in Spanish/English required. Ability to travel 60% of the time. Must reside in Guatemala City, Guatemala.
