3 Months Contract with a Local Authority Umbrella - £16.00 per hour - umbrella Job Purpose As a Cleaner , you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment within a primary school. You will carry out daily cleaning duties across classrooms, toilets, and communal areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness for pupils and staff.

Key Duties/Accountabilities Clean classrooms and teaching areas. Clean toilets and washroom facilities. Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors. Dust and sanitise surfaces. Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately. Maintain hygiene standards throughout the school. Carry out deep cleaning during school holidays when required.

Use cleaning equipment and materials safely. Follow Health & Safety procedures and cleaning schedules. Ensure all areas are clean, safe, and presentable. Essential Experience Required Previous cleaning experience. Experience working in a school environment is desirable. Good attention to detail. Ability to work independently.

Reliable and punctual. Understanding of cleaning procedures and hygiene standards. Ability to work as part of a team. Essential Qualifications Required Enhanced DBS. Right to Work in the UK. Additional Information to Note Working Hours: 12.5 hours per week. Monday to Friday. Shift Pattern: 15:00 - 17:30. Term-time working with additional deep cleans during school holidays.
