This 32- Bed unit features self-scheduling, 12-hour shifts, and every-other-weekend rotation, helping promote flexibility and work-life balance. Nurses in this unit benefit from a collaborative team culture, and the opportunity to gain diverse clinical experience. 12 Hour Shifts Self- Scheduling 32- Bed Unit How you’ll contribute A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role: Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient Performs timely and accurate QI assessments What we’re looking for Applicants should have a current state RN license.
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. Additional requirements include: Active North Carolina RN license (single-state) or compact required. If relocating, licensure must be updated to the new Primary State of Residence (PSOR) before employment begins. Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire. Two or more years of RN Emergency Department experience required.
