About the Role

Hey. Tutor has partnered with a school in the Bronx to provide high-impact, in-person tutoring to high school students. Applicants must have completed an Associate’s degree or higher. We are hiring ELA Tutors to support students in grades k-2nd. Pay & Benefits $32-$38 per hour , based on education and experience Attendance-based pay incentives Voluntary health benefits (Critical Illness, Accident, Hospital Indemnity) 401(k) retirement plan Schedule Monday–Friday availability required Must be Available from 8:00am-2:12pm Requirements Completed AA degree or higher Experience working with children or tutoring preferred Comfortable tutoring Elementary School Math Ability to manage large groups of students independently Comfortable working in a classroom setting Ability to pass an FBI-DOJ in-person background check Spanish Bilingual Required Key Responsibilities Tutor groups of students without direct teacher supervision Deliver lessons using provided curriculum and materials Create an engaging, welcoming learning environment Support positive student behavior and participation Track attendance and student progress using the Hey.
