Van Driver

• Type III Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent Current valid driver's license Safe driving record Must be available Monday
• Friday 6:30am - 4:00pm Must pass drug test and DOT physical. Pine Island Schools is looking for a van driver. This job is Monday
• Friday. Hours available are approximately 6:30am - 8:30am, 10:30am - 12:30pm, 2:30pm - 4:30pm with other hours possible. Pay is $19.86 per hour.

include PTO and paid holidays. Job Goal: To provide safe transportation of district students to and from school. He/she is responsible for the general care and daily inspection of the van assigned to him/her. He/she shall be knowledgeable of all laws, rules, and regulations pertaining to the safe transportation of students and of all district policy.

Responsibilities

Transport students in a safe manner. Perform daily pre-trip inspections on his/her van Complete daily mileage log Keep van clean on inside and outside Complies with all traffic ordinances Discipline to be handled by driver, but if needed, fill out discipline reports and forward to appropriate administrator Report accidents and violations to Transportation Director Employee is responsible to be knowledgeable of all District policies This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive and employee will also perform other reasonable related business duties as assigned by immediate supervisor and other management as required.
