If you're a hands-on leader who thrives in a team environment and takes pride in outstanding service, we'd love to meet you! 🌟 Why You'll Love Working at Peter Becker Community ✨ Competitive pay ✨ Comprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance ✨ Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) ✨ 403(b) Retirement Plan with Employer Match ✨ Tuition Reimbursement ✨ Complimentary YMCA Membership ✨ Employee Assistance Program (EAP) ✨ Opportunities for professional growth and development ✨ A welcoming, relationship-focused community 🍴 What You'll Do ✔️ Oversee daily dining room operations to ensure timely, consistent, and exceptional service ✔️ Lead, train, coach, and develop front-of-house dining team members ✔️ Coordinate dining room setup, service, and cleanup for daily meals, special events, and catered functions ✔️ Assist with staff scheduling and securing coverage for open shifts ✔️ Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate service expectations, updates, and daily priorities ✔️ Ensure dining areas are clean, organized, properly set up, and maintained according to sanitation and safety standards ✔️ Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, appearance, and adherence to department policies ✔️ Respond to resident questions, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and care ✔️ Collaborate with the Executive Chef, Sous Chefs, and Dining Services leadership to support smooth operations ✔️ Assist with point-of-sale (POS) system updates, maintenance, and data entry ✔️ Support employee performance reviews and identify opportunities to improve service standards and procedures ✔️ Promote a positive dining experience where residents feel welcomed, valued, and respected ✅ What We're Looking For ✔️ High school diploma or GED equivalent required ✔️ At least 1–2 years of customer service, dining, or hospitality experience required ✔️ Associate degree preferred ✔️ RAMP (Responsible Alcohol Management Program) certification required within 60 days of employment ✔️ Serv. Safe certification preferred ✔️ Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills ✔️ Ability to coach and motivate team members while maintaining high service standards ✔️ Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities ✔️ A resident-focused approach with a commitment to dignity, respect, and hospitality ✔️ Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and perform the physical duties associated with dining operations, including lifting up to 50 pounds as needed 💙 Why Peter Becker Community?
