FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds in Department: 175 beds (facility) EMR System: Epic Support Staff Available: APPs, Hospitalists REQUIRED PROCEDURES Cardiac catheterizations (caths) Echocardiograms (echoes) EKG interpretation Holter monitoring Peripheral vascular procedures Nuclear medicine studies Cardioversions JOB REQUIREMENTS Board: Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology Licenses: Active NE license or Universal License (IMLC) Certifications: Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology Other Qualifications: Must be able to read echocardiograms; case logs and CV required at presentation.

Duties & Responsibilities Provide inpatient rounding and management of cardiology patients (average census 8-10). Perform interventional cardiology procedures including cardiac catheterizations, echocardiograms, and other diagnostic tests. Take STEMI call and provide on-call coverage as part of a 1:3 call schedule. Conduct outpatient clinic when not covering inpatient service (Mon-Fri 8a-4p).

Interpret echocardiograms and other cardiac imaging studies.
