About Us

Candlewood Suites St. Clairsville, an IHG hotel, offers extended-stay accommodations for business travelers, relocating families, and guests visiting the Ohio Valley. We’re looking for an organized, personable Sales Coordinator to help us grow our corporate, group, and local business.

What You Will Do

Support the sales team with prospecting, lead follow-up, and account management Make outbound calls, send emails, and conduct in-person visits to local businesses, contractors, healthcare providers, and energy-sector companies Respond promptly to group and corporate rate inquiries and prepare proposals and contracts Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients Track leads, bookings, and sales activity in our CRM and reporting systems Coordinate site tours and hotel showings for prospective clients Assist with promotions, local networking events, and community outreach Work with front desk and operations teams to make sure group and corporate guests have a great stay Monitor local market trends and competitor activity What We Are Looking For High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business, or marketing preferred 1+ year of experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, or administration (hotel experience a plus) Strong verbal and written communication skills Comfortable making cold calls and meeting new people Good organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a willingness to learn hotel sales software Reliable transportation for local sales calls Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays as business needs require Why Join Us Medical, dental, and vision Paid Time Off 401(k) with company match Discounted hotel rates at IHG properties worldwide A supportive, team-oriented work environment
